Chap Book Design

In designing D. B. Updike's book, The Seven Champions of Typography, the typesetting, page layout, and paper stock are carefully chosen according to the design and content of the book to achieve a strong typographic composition mentioned by the author. The seven branches are the representation of seven important elements for a strong typographical composition. Only with the combination of all seven elements can the composition be strong, just like the unbreakable bound of the seven branches.
